Colfax County is located west of Dodge County along the Platte River. Schuyler, population 6,200, is its largest town and county seat. It’s known for the St. Benedict Conference Center, a destination for spiritual retreats. Clarkson, Howells and three other small towns call Colfax County’s 411 square miles home.

The Schuyler/Colfax County Museum preserves the legacy of the industries and agriculture of this area and is a great starting point for exploring this eastern Nebraska county.
