Steele City Flea Market and Antique Farm Machinery Show

Thousands of visitors descend on Steele City, population 60, each year on the third weekend in September for the Steele City Flea Market and Antique Farm Machinery Show.

Tractors and treasures are in abundance, and many fun activities provide the entertainment. If you’re still miffed that you never had a pedal tractor as a kid, you can enter the pedal tractor pull on an adult-size version. There’s a pull for children, too. A beer garden and street dance, tractor parade and co-ed volleyball tournament add more fun. The village blacksmith works the old way in the community’s stone blacksmith’s shop up the hill.
