Customers walking into the EAT Restaurant in Dodge are always banking on a great meal and a great time. The restaurant is in the former Dodge State Bank, which failed during the 1929 stock market crash. Owner, chef and Bancroft native Michael Glissman reopened the building as Eat Restaurant in early 2015 after working in California’s wine country for two decades. In a toast to his rural roots, he offers country food spiced with big city influences from his days spent cooking with celebrity chefs.
